Last month, I had the amazing opportunity of working with Taylor Hunter on a romantic, style shoot. My main goal in the collaboration was to help Taylor see a concept from idea to completion. And in the end what was created was a rich + colorful, ethereal dream filled with ruffles galore.
It was pretty tough looking for vibrant, romantic gowns in Baton Rouge, but in the final hour I was able to find two absolutely stunning vintage gowns in our local thrift stores.
Voluminous Rose Pink Gown: Our Hope Family Thrift on Goodwood
Sultry + Sheer Ruby Red Gown: The Purple Cow on Perkins
Most accessories are either from my closet, thrifted, estate sale vintage or purchased rather inexpensively. A forever testament that money does not necessarily equate to style.
I’m so happy to have worked with such an incredible team. What we were able to execute was nothing shy of amazing and the best part is that we laughed our asses off while doing it!
